For those of you who have been following along with the release of Brandon's first series of free After Effects tools development - this final tutorial in this series is released - meet Text Lasso.
Text Lasso is a free After Effects tool that allows you to speed up and automate your workflow by pulling text from another layer. It's dynamic - so changing the original text will update the new text layers you've created. Super cool.
This is the last tool in the series of three. The two others to check out are Text Buddy and Opacity Buddy. You can download any of them a la carte, but I suggest just going for it and downloading the bundle. You can thank me later. Just kidding, you should definitely thank Brandon.

What was the coolest part of releasing this bundle of After Effects tools?
Talking with people who have found uses for these tools or helping to problem solve people's projects with these tools has been a lot of fun. We've had over 200 downloads from people all over the world (16+ countries). I was also able to connect with some people who I really look up to in the industry. It just made me realize how amazing the After Effects community is.
