So one really cool thing about Pixel Planet Studios (besides obvious reasons) is their willingness to share knowledge. We really love to share tips and tricks for how to make kickass motion graphics, 3D animations and, in general, super dope videos.
With that said, this tutorial from Eric is a really thorough step-by-step of how to do a fluid particle reveal animation in Blender. Now I'm not going to pretend I speak fluent Blender, so much of it was over my head. However, I think it's safe to say that having an intermediate knowledge of Blender in general is a great idea here.
And for a TL;DW, well, I just said I don't speak fluent Blender, so - just watch the dang video.
